MECHANICSVILLE, MD, September 25th, 2013– WALDORF FORD & DODGE contributed $5000 to Catholic Charities of Archdioceses of Washington as part of the Southern Maryland Food Bank that provides a local resource center for bulk food to pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and group homes serving those at risk within Southern Maryland area of Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties since 1983.

“We are very proud to support the mission of the Southern Maryland Food Bank as they address the needs of our community,” said Greg Basiliko General Manager of Waldorf Ford & Dodge.

As the need for assistance has grown over the years, the Southern Maryland Food Bank has worked hard to expand it’s memberships, services and products to meet the continuing and increasing need of our valued members, partners and communities.  We are furthering this effort by expanding our program to include our new Snack Sak Project, Senior Care Cases, Food Hotline, Food Policy Council and Agricultural Endeavors.
