In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang Celebration that will be held at Waldorf Ford on April 17th, 2014 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm we thought it would be great to highlight one of our Top Selling Mustang Sales Consultants, Clarence Ball! Originally from Maryland, Clarence has been with Waldorf Ford for over 13 years. Clarence has always been an active member at the dealership and in the community. He has volunteered at many events including multiple Mustang Shows just like the 50th Anniversary of Mustang coming up this Thursday, April 17th, 2014. His love for automobiles and especially the Ford Mustang shows. During his time at Waldorf Ford he has sold hundreds of Ford Mustangs!
When we sat down with Clarence, we wanted to find out what made The Ford Mustang so special to him and to compare it to other Ford’s. “The Ford Mustang is a sports car that has an aggressive look. The Mustang’s look makes it stand apart from all other muscle cars in the market.” When asked what his favorite mustang was he stated “It’s difficult to pick just one mustang. I have several. One of my favorite vintage mustang is The Bullitt Mustang that Steve McQueen drove in The 1968 Movie, Bullitt.
The Bullitt’s clean lines, color options, and upgrades (including being 10 to 15 Miles per hour faster than the Mustang GT) embody the true spirit of the Ford Mustang.
As far as current Mustang models Clarence loves the 2014 Ford Mustang GT 500. The reason for him is because it’s the fastest production mustang ever but he also reminded us that he is also a huge fan of 2009 and up Mustangs as well because the body style had changed.
We asked Clarence about his thoughts on the 2015 Ford Mustang he stated “With the 2015 Ford Mustang upgrades in technology it will be extremely competitive with other sports cars on the market.”

(Waldorf, MD) Today, Ford Motor Company awarded Waldorf Ford with the prestigious Triple Crown Award. This is the 8th year that Waldorf Ford has won this award.
The Triple Crown Award recognizes dealerships that have won the President’s Award and the One Hundred Club Award, but who also ranked high enough to be included in the Ford Customer Service Premier Club. Ford Motor Company also presented The One Hundred Club Award for 2013, which recognizes dealerships that are in the top 100 in Ford sales for the nation.
Waldorf Ford is one of only 23 dealerships in the country to win the 2013 Triple Crown Award. Waldorf Ford is among only 5 select dealerships in the United States to earn the Triple Crown Award for 8 consecutive years.
“It is quite an accomplishment for a dealership to receive the One Hundred Club Award, but to receive that and take care of the customer well enough to receive the President’s Award as well is exceptional”, stated Ford Motor Company.

The Waldorf Ford and Dodge Organization has always been an active member in the Southern Maryland Community and as October Marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month we also encourage our friends, family, and employees to serve. This past weekend employees from Waldorf Ford & Dodge’s Internet Department; Kaitlyn Campbell, Amanda Duran, and Amanda Brady decided to show their support and help raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer issues. They participated in the 4th Annual Calvert Memorial Hospital 5K Run/Walk that was held on Saturday, October 5th, 2013.

They made great strides during this event! Not only were Kaitlyn, Amanda, and Amanda racing to find a cure they had a great time! The funds that were raised during this event went to benefit the Sheldon E. Goldberg Center for Breast Care.
So although October is designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month Waldorf Ford & Dodge is dedicated to raising awareness about Breast Cancer throughout the year.

The annual Southern Maryland Mustang Club Fall Show will be held at Waldorf Ford on Saturday, September 28th, from 9 am to 3 pm. We wanted to send out a friendly reminder to let everyone know about this fun and fantastic event! This is a family event that will include a DJ with drinks and food available for purchase. • Vehicles will be categorized into (A) Early Classics 1964½ ‐ 70, (B) Late Classics 71 ‐ 78, (C) Fox‐bodied 79 ‐ 93,(D) SN95 94 – 98, (E) SN95 99 ‐04,(F) S197 Mustangs 05 ‐ 09, (G) S197 Mustangs 10 ‐ +, (O)Non‐Mustang/LM Car,(T) Truck with trophies awarded in each category. There will be single trophies awarded for Best‐in‐Show, Sponsor’s Choice, and others. Door prizes will be given throughout the event.
