WALDORF FORD & DODGE Contributes $2000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of The WMZQ St. Jude Radiothon

WALDORF, MARYLAND, 2014 – Waldorf Ford & Dodge contributed $2,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of The WMZQ St. Jude Radiothon. The St. Jude Radiothon provides funding to research and treatments of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

“We are very proud to support the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Project as they address the needs of children in our community,” said Thomas Kody of Waldorf Ford & Dodge.

The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer.  The hospital’s research has helped push overall survival rates for childhood cancer from less that 20 percent when the institution opened in 1962 to almost 80 percent today.

The St. Jude WMZQ Radiothon sponsored by Waldorf Ford & Dodge on December 4th & 5th raised a total of $404,812 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.tom st jude
